Guess this Quote!

Keilah, from Looking Through The Lens, posted this game, so I decided to continue it on! Here are the rules:

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDB.com and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them for everyone to guess.
4. When someone guesses correctly, put the correct movie and the person who guessed it after the quote.
5. NO cheating! :)

(feel free to take the image if you would like to continue. Created by Keilah Engstrom)

Here are my 15 quotes! Not all of these movies are my favorites, but they were what I could think of. If you know any of them, leave a comment with your guess(es)! Have fun!

P.S. If they haven't all been guessed correctly by July 23rd, I will post the answers.

#1 - Character 1: Money is the world's curse.
Character 2: May the Lord smite me with it. And may I never recover.

#2 - Character 1: He said a dog bit his nose.
Character 2: Arf.

#3 - Character 1: This is... huge. Prison... huge. You are gonna go to prison. You know that, right?
Character 2: Yeah, probably.
Character 1: Well... that would... bother most people. "National Treasure" Guessed by Keilah

#4 - Character 1: I will simply deny you the crown and live.... forever!
Character 2: Good! I don't want it. "Ever After" Guessed by Keilah

#5 - Character 1: You have done nothing for which you should be ashamed.
Character 2: I have done nothing. And for that I am ashamed.

#6 - Character 1: I fear this latest escapade may have lessened your regard for her "fine eyes".
Character 2: Not at all. They were brightened by the exercise.

#7 - Character 1: I've hired an accountant.
Character 2: A what?
Character 1: An accountant. According to the word, it must be a cross between a counter and a mutant, and that may be precisely what we need.

#8 - Character 1: I'm gonna kill him.
Character 2: You may not have to.

#9 - Character 1: They tear the baby out of its only means of life support, and say 'Wow, look at that, our machines can't sustain it's life,' and somehow, that proves it's not viable?

#10 - Character 1: Just this once, be faithful 99 percent of the time! I mean, I've never gone 99 percent on anything, and I think I'm awesome.

#11 - Character 1: Excuse me, sir. I don't know your signal.

#12 - Character 1: But just remember: a woman's like a rose; if you treat her right, she'll bloom, if you don't, she'll wilt.
Character 2: Where'd you get that?
Character 1: Counseling. "Fireproof" Guessed by Keilah

#13 - Character 1: I love daisies.
Character 2: You told me.
Character 1: They're so friendly. Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?

#14 - Character 1: The king will be dead in a month and his son is a weakling. Who do you think will rule this kingdom? Now open this door.

#15 - Character 1: So you expect to leave me standing on some beach with nothing but a name and your word it's the one I need and watch you sail away on my ship?
Character 2: No. I expect to leave you standing on some beach with absolutely no name at all, watching me sail away on my ship and then I'll shout the name back to you. Savvy? "Pirates of the Caribbean" Guessed by Miztermuzik

Isaac's Zucchini Bread

Rachel asked if I would share the recipe for Isaac's zucchini bread I mentioned in my last post. Here it is!

Isaac's Zucchini Bread

3 eggs
1 c. melted butter
2 c. sugar
1 T. vanilla
2 c. raw graded zucchini (do not peel)
3 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 T. cinnamon
1/4 t. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Beat eggs until light. Add butter, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in everything else. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 60 minutes at 325 degrees. Enjoy!

Now, I must just tell you something about this recipe. Originally, the recipe called for 1 cup of oil, instead of butter. The first time Isaac made it, we had no oil in the house, so he used butter instead, and it turned out just wonderfully! Therefore, we modified the recipe just a bit. If you want, you can try it with oil, but I can't guarantee how good it will be. :)

From start to finish.....

Lately, my brother Isaac has become very interested in gardening. He planted a garden after we moved, and it is doing very well. Just the other day he made zucchini bread from the zucchini he grew in his garden. He was so excited!

P.S. I must just say, the zucchini bread he made was positively the best I've ever had! It was delicious!

Happy Independence Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. My family did! We (Dad, Mom, Isaac, I, and my cousin Mariah) headed to the Prescott Courthouse where a huge parade takes place every year. Thousands of people gathered to enjoy it, and when there are thousands of people somewhere, what better time is there to share the gospel? We passed out tracts before the parade started, during the parade, and as the people were leaving. All in all, I believe we got out over 1,000 tracts! We had a blessed time!

The Heart of Courageous

Over the past few months, I've been following closely the progress of Sherwood Picture's fourth film, Courageous. I am extremely enthusiastic about this movie. I think I can hardly wait until 2011 to see it! This past week marked the end of their filming period, and now they're heading into production.

This video sums up their purpose in the movie. Doesn't it make you so impatient to see it?

Canoeing on the Lake

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went canoeing on the lake for a couple of hours for my father's birthday. We had a really beautiful time. One side of the lake is rocky and open, and the other side is green, and sort of feels like an amazon jungle. Here are some pictures:

P.S. The Fourth of July is coming up! For the occasion, my family is going to evangelize in the Prescott Courthouse square. I will post about it, and hopefully take pictures I can show you! Have a great weekend!
