My First Testimony Ever!!

A couple of weeks ago, my church's Jr. High class shared their testimonies with a younger class. I was among the kids who did so. My Dad got us all on video. Before I did it I had it all planned out in my mind and I knew exactly what I was going to say. But when I got up there and did it, it came out different than I had planned. I left out some parts and added others that I hadn't thought of before. I was soooo nervous and I still don't think I did a very good job, but I just pray that God used it and that He gets all the glory.

Here is the video. Watch it and let me know what you think!

  2. Kiah,

What a blessing to listen to your testimony!

You were nervous? You sure didn't sound nervous. :-) You sounded great!

You know, I'm a little nervous every time I step onto a box to preach on the streets. There are times when, like you, I plan to say one thing but end up saying something else. But, if we're preaching the gospel, if we are calling people to repentance and faith, the Lord will give us the words to speak.

Well done! May our Lord use your testimony to bring other people (young...and old like me) to repentance and faith. :-)

I love hearing your comments! As you leave them, please keep in mind Ephesians 4:29: "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Thank you!
